The idyllic sailing conditions during the four days of this event will be remembered for their extraordinary matches. We have witnessed very high level duels, where the crews have gone looking for the challenge of surpassing themselves to win.

Blue skies and 10 to 18 knot winds highlighted our splendid playground, the Caledonian lagoon. And the photos we offer you are an illustration of it....

In four days, more than 100 matches were played on the Lemon Bay race course, 13 crews involved: two New Zealand crews, three Australians, eight Caledonians. That is 65 people for four days to race, referee, coordinate...

The organization of such an event requires the involvement of many qualified people and it is therefore natural to close this event with thanks:

  • To the crews who gave their best,
  • To the Umpires for their arbitration,
  • To the Race Committee, which carried out the procedures for the 100 matches,
  • To the super spectator boat Birdies Furax and their owners who are present every day on the sea
  • To the members of the club who have made their boats available to accommodate foreign crews,
  • To the press for the follow-up on the event, you contribute to its success
  • To the sponsor Aircalin and Generali and the institution of New Caledonia who make the event possible

See you next year for the 13th edition.
