With new fleet options and over 20 destinations to choose from, make your yachting dreams a reality at the Southampton International Boat Show by joining Sunsail Ownership or The Moorings Yacht Ownership Programme.

Charter company Sunsail Yacht Ownership, and luxury sister brand The Moorings Yacht Ownership are all set to welcome visitors to the Southampton International Boat Show to share how they can discover the joy of owning a first-class yacht without the hassle.

With new fleet options to choose from and Exhumas, in the Bahamas, added to more than 20 bases to choose from, the experienced Yacht Ownership Team are all set to welcome visitors to Southampton on stand J156A. The team will also be able to share exclusive Southampton Boat Show offers that will be available during the event.

Joining the Sunsail or The Moorings yacht ownership programme is a perfect way for first time adventurers or seasoned sailors to spend more time out on the water enjoying the best parts of owning a boat - the freedom to explore and charm of waking up with a different view from your window every day.

Visitors can find out about access to the world class fleet the Yacht Ownership Programme offers including new additions for this year:

  • Beneteau monohulls - the 2 cabin Sunsail 38.2 and 3 cabin Sunsail 41.1
  • Jeanneau monohulls - the 3 cabin Sunsail 41.0 and 4 cabin Sunsail 44
  • Lagoon catamarans - the 4 cabin Sunsail 424 and 4 cabin Sunsail 464
Anastasia Stebner, Yacht Sales Marketing for Sunsail and the Moorings Yacht Ownership explains,

"We are looking forward to sharing with visitors to Southampton International Boat Show how they can take advantage of our stunning new additions to the fleet. Owning your own yacht can cost as little as a two week annual charter holiday. We know that maintenance, insurance, dockage and logistics of owning a boat can be costly and off-putting. However, joining a yacht ownership programme means that although you own the boat, we take care of it for you. With zero operating, insurance and marina costs, a guaranteed income of 8% - 9% per annum or initially reduced purchase payment, 12 weeks use of the yacht per year and access to other yachts in more than 20 stunning yachting destinations worldwide owning your own yacht is more accessible than ever before."

The Yacht Ownership team are looking forward to helping visitors decide whether the Jeanneau or Beneteau monohulls and Leopard or Lagoon catamarans are most suited to their holiday needs. Couples tend to prefer the 34-41ft range and families will enjoy the 41-50ft. However, if owners want to take friends sailing there are various upgrade options for holidays where they will have more company.

Owners will pay for their own travel to the base, which may be arranged by Sunsail/Moorings or independently, a turnaround fee for cleaning of the yacht and linens and for preparation of the yacht including petrol for the outboard, butane for the stove and other such essentials. As a guide the turnaround fee for up to 49ft monohulls is £160 per trip. Owners may choose to prepay for diesel and damage waiver or simply leave a refundable deposit and top up the tank on their return to the base.

To arrange a one-to-one appointment with the Sunsail and The Moorings Yacht Ownership specialists then please contact Nancy Poyner or Julian Adams on + 44 (0) 2392 222225 or email or
