The Grand Final of National Sailing League's First Division has ended in Kaliningrad. 20 teams were competing on the water of Upper Pond from 9th to 11th of August. The fifth season of the largest sailing project of Russia, National Sailing League, has ended for First Division teams.

NSL held regatta in Kaliningrad for the first time. None of the teams have had an experience in sailing there, that is why races were so unpredictable.

Race committee managed to give 39 races with constantly changing wind conditions. Every team had sailed 13 races.

Rocknrolla Sailing Team showed a brilliant performance and won a gold medal of Grand-Final stage. Calipso team from Tuapse won the silver medal both of the stage and of the 2019 season. ArtTube RUS1 won the bronze medal.

The absolute winner of the National Sailing League' First Division is Akhmat team from Chechen Republic. The team took the lead in the overall ranking from the First Stage of the season. Team's professional skills and strong nerves helped them to stay on the top until the very end.

The top four National Sailing League teams will take part in SAILING Champions League. Akhmat (Chechen Republic), Calipso (Tuapse), Sailing Academy of Saint Petersburg Yacht-Club (Saint Petersburg), ZID art Sailing team (Moscow) will represent Russia in 2020.

Second and Junior Divisions races will be held from 16th to 18th of August on Upper Pond. Grand-Final of Second Division will determine which teams will be transferred into First Division for the next year.
