Gran Turismo 32: The ideal entry-level express cruiser

by Emilie Piron 9 Aug 2019 22:59 PDT

Designed to provide a perfect transition from a day boat to an express cruiser, the Gran Turismo 32 makes use of the Flyer 10 deck plan, while retaining the panache of the Gran Turismo line. It also lives up to the challenge the Beneteau designers set themselves of marrying the spirit of a large open boat with that of a spacious comfortable hard top. And the outcome? The benefits of a day boat on an express cruiser!

Light and ventilation are a priority on board, particularly under the hard top. The Gran Turismo 32 has good head clearance and will appeal to anyone who loves an open boat. They will never feel claustro-phobic. There is good interaction between the various spaces on the upper deck, which are well arranged, with all the features of a cleverly designed boat.

From an aesthetic point of view, her sporty look just breathes communicative power. Her modern-looking sides re?ect the light elegantly. With a powerful pro?led silhouette, family or friends will love trips to sea on the Gran Turismo 32!

Comfort and Sheer Pleasure

Optimized to make the best use of every space, the Gran Turismo 32 leaves room for imagination allowing a variety of potential uses in all seasons.

Redesigned with a very large windshield, its bright hard top provides optimal vision under way. A semi-walkaround to the bow makes movement pleasant and safe. It leads you to the forward sun pads where you can bask in the sun before diving into the water from the swim platform.

At the helm, two bolster seats behind the console are supplemented to port by a double bench seat. This means that four people can share the pleasures of driving facing the sea. In the cockpit, the full beam layout of the Gran Turismo 32 allows for the best use of space. The back rest of the lounger seat and the aft bench tip back to create a large sunbathing area.

The galley on the starboard, is fully fitted with a refrigerator, sink, twin burner on oven, storage and even a small worktop, so that you can cook real meals while enjoying life aboard.

Good Sleeping Quarters

The Gran Turismo 32 has two double berths and a real shower space with an independent head compartment, making nights on board a pleasure. Bathed in soft light from the long hull windows, the main central cabin and the mid cabin can use the spacious storage column at the bottom of the companionway. The space is enhanced by elegant walnut coloured materials.

Handling is Child's Play

One signature feature of the Gran Turismo is the powerful spray of its wake, showing the liveliness of a perfectly propelled Airstep hull. With engines of up to 600 HP, the Gran Turismo 32 promises peak speeds of 35 knots. A wonderful power reserve for a boat whose handling is child's play. The express cruiser can be equipped, on option, with a joystick, a zipwake system, a bow drive, and two Garmin 12" screens, making her incredibly simple to drive.

Lastly, the Gran Turismo 32 has extra appeal, because she offers a choice between an outboard or in-board version.

See you at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2019 for the official launch of this wonderful little boat!
