by Nikki Eaves 31 Jul 2019 10:33 PDT 29 July - 3 August 2019

It's been a tough one...

With the weather looking more favourable than yesterday but still on the challenging side the Tasar Fleet headed out to Hayling Bay. With two races scheduled the first race of the day started at 1212 BST. This start was black flagged, followed by further black flag and a general recall. Racing got under way at 1228 BST.

Race 4 Finish order (provisional): 1st AUS 2942 James Burman, 2nd AUS 2848 Rob Douglass, 3rd 3rd GBR 2877 James Peters

Race 5 Finish order (provisional): 1st AUS 2813 Rick Longbottom, 2nd AUS 2922 Lloyd Lissiman, 3rd AUS 2831 Paul Ridgway

HISC's very own James Peters and Charlie Darling recorded hitting 13.8 knots on the Tracker today!

Provisional Results after Day 3: (top five, 5 races, 1 discard)

1st AUS 2848 Rob Douglass and Nicole Douglass - 7 pts
2nd AUS 2813 Rick Longbottom and Darryl Bentley - 14 pts
3rd AUS 2942 James Burman and Tara Burman - 15 pts
4th GBR 2877 James Peters and Charlie Darling - 15 pts
5th USA 2398 Michael Karas and Molly Jackson - 16 pts

All results are provisional at this stage as a couple of boats have requested a redress, protests will be heard this evening and any changes to results will be made in the morning.

This evening the Tasar competitors (ones who still have some energy left) will be donning their dancing shoes for Jive dance lessons and enjoying a toe tapping night of classic swing dance tunes from The Swing Beats.
