Well it has only been one week since the largest fleet of WASZPs ever assembled descended on Malcesine Lake Garda for the 2019 WASZP European Championships. The fleet of 100 Entries enjoyed five days of glorious Garda conditions and sensational WASZP lifestyle and hospitality.

As quickly as that event finished the WASZP team turned their attention to the 2020 International WASZP Games to be hosted by Fraglia Vela Malcesine on the picturesque Lake Garda, Italy. Hopes are high for a fleet of 170-200 from around 25 nations!

The event will begin on the 30th of July and finish on the 6th of August 2020. It is important to book accommodation early as Lake Garda is a holiday mecca at this time of year!

As well as the European Competitors there will be large fleets from Australia, New Zealand and the Americas ready to test themselves against the best Europe has to offer. With the standard extremely hot at the top end of Gold Fleet it will be interesting to see how all the fleets go when combined for the first time at this scale of event.

Containers will be able to arrive on site from the 27th of July and in the days leading up to the GAMES there will be clinics held for all level of WASZP Sailor. There is no excuse not to be there with the best sailors in the fleet providing all the information needed for those taking on the championships for the first time. As well as this there will be a maintenance clinic and a tuning clinic held by the WASZP team.
