The 2019 Tasar World Championships will take place at Hayling Island Sailing Club from 27th July to 3rd August. The scheduled programme is for 12 races, with a maximum of three races each day.
The first race is scheduled to start at 12 noon on Monday 29th July, with a practice race on Sunday 28th July.
33 competitors have arrived from Ireland (1), The Netherlands (2), Germany (2), Australia (19), America (4) and Japan (5) to join the 34 GBR competitors.
The weather forecast is looking good for the next few days with plenty of sunshine, blue skies and generally light winds.
Early bird measuring started on Friday 26th and registration opens at 10:30 on Saturday.
Competitors can expect excellent race management on the water with Race Officer Mark Wood and his team.
A full social programme is planned including a beach party, Commodores welcome reception, Gin & Tonic evening, live swing band, daily prize-givings and a gala championship dinner - competitors will not be disappointed.
