Russian National Sailing League stage 5 concludes in Saint Petersburg

The fifth stage of National Sailing League's First Division was held from 12th to 14th of July in Saint Petersburg. 21 teams competed on the water of Neva River near Peter and Paul Fortress.

Constantly changing wind and strong stream made the battle tough. Only good nerves and skills helped teams to win medals.

'PIRogovo' team from Moscow won the gold medal. It was their first podium of 2019 season. 'ArtTube RUS1' is the second. 'Rocknrolla Sailing Team' is the third.

With two points behind 'Sailing Academy of Saint Petersburg Yacht-Club' is on the fourth place. 'CSKA' team is the fifth.

Baltic Yachting Week has also opened last weekend. The National Sailing League and Baltic Sailing Week have attracted a big audience. Guests could participate in master-classes and seminars, visit a photo-gallery and presentations.

Saturday night ended with performance of windsurfers, yacht waltz and fireworks.

National Sailing League will stay in Saint Petersburg until 21st of July. Races of Second Division will start on 19th in yacht port 'Hercules'. Participants of First Division will meet only in Kalinigrad in August during Grand-Final of 2019 season.
