Being the largest boating exhibition in the southern hemisphere, the Sydney International Boat Show, running from the 1st until the 5th of August at the International Convention Centre Sydney and Cockle Bay Darling Harbour, attracts boat builders and manufacturers from around the world, ready to display and share the latest in boat and accessory design.

From the USA, the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) will present a number of their members at a special USA Pavilion at the Sydney International Boat Show. The NMMA is the leading trade association in the US representing boat, marine engine and accessory manufacturers. Collectively, NMMA members manufacture an estimated 80 percent of marine products used in North America, and hope to be able to secure a further presence and visibility in Australia by participating at the show.

"Since Australia remains one of the top export markets for US manufactured products and boats, the NMMA has selected the Sydney International Boat Show as our chosen platform for showcasing some of the best that our US industry has to offer to the Australian market," said Julie Balzano with the NMMA. "The USA Pavilion, located on level 4, will highlight manufacturers and boat builders looking for new customers and B2B partners in Australia."

From Central Europe, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency will promote the Polish yacht and boat sector among Australians at the show. Visitors to the show can learn more about the Polish yachting industry and obtain information about Polish manufacturers, parts, equipment and related services.

"More than 95% of maritime production in Poland is intended for export," Magdalena Kaszewska-Suchocka with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency said. "Our yachts and boats are associated with an exceptional reputation for reliability. This is our second year exhibiting at the Sydney International Boat Show, and buyers of luxury goods, not just from Europe but also from all around the world, appreciate our Polish standards and dedication to quality."

The co-located Australia International Dive Expo attracts operators from the Pacific region and beyond. Taiwan Tourism and Tonga Tourism each showcase some of the world's finest diving at the show, joined by international delegations from Thailand, Malaysia, China, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, along with local Australian operators and suppliers ready to present some of the best diving locations, education and advice.

The Show also includes plenty of other education thanks to the show's Partner in Safety, Transport for NSW. Fishing masterclasses, adventurer presentations and on water equipment demonstrations are just a few of the many activities included with the entry ticket. The show is open each day from 10AM until 7PM.
