After the fantastic success and massive fleet of 107 in Toronto, NSW at the 2019 Nationals, the Windsurfer Class travels back to South Australia for the first time in over 30 years to do battle on the Gulf of St. Vincent.

Expect great sailing conditions with some big sea-breezes and swell, along with a super fun vibe backed with a solid social program.

Full race calendar over four days featuring course racing, marathon, slalom and freestyle.

This will be the 43rd Nationals for the Class and is the largest one design sailboarding championship in Australia.

Location:
Brighton & Seacliff Yacht Club, South Australia

Date:
January 23 - 26 January, 2020

According to Class President Nick Bez, the Class is enjoying massive global growth. “The new LT has captured the imagination of the windsurfing world offering simple and cost effective one design racing with thousands of boards sold globally in the first year of release and becoming a World Sailing international class late last year.”

The first official World Championships will be held in late July on Lake Garda, Italy with over 170 competitors expected. Australia will host the 2020/21 Worlds on the Swan River in Perth.
