The newest entrant to the Australian luxury boat market, Longreef Yachts, has announced the latest model in its range, the 50 SX Flybridge. The two-stateroom Longreef 50 SX will be launched in Sydney in September.

Longreef Yachts CEO Andy Young said: "We are excited to bring this ground-breaking motor yacht to the Australian market. She has been developed after more than a year of consultation and development and is a slightly smaller version of her sister ship, the 60SX.

"She fulfils our design philosophy of effortless luxury, being easy to operate and offering a layout that provides multiple spaces for entertaining and relaxing."

Outdoors, a large cockpit with transom seating and dinette table awaits aft and a double sunpad welcomes on the fore deck.

The extended flybridge offers lounge seating for up to 10 adults around the entire aft section. The helm is positioned forward on the starboard side.

The saloon amenities have been carefully considered to make maximum use of the extended space and to take full advantage of huge panoramic windows and large tri-fold rear glass doors. The space includes a fully-equipped aft galley, a dinette opposite with adjustable dining/coffee table and the interior helm, two steps up from the saloon floor on the starboard side.

The accommodation deck begins with a spacious atrium lounge. The master stateroom forward offers a walk-around queen double bed and cedar-lined hanging wardrobe. The second stateroom on the starboard side amidships includes twin beds, a wardrobe and bedside table. Each stateroom has immediate access to an en-suite bathroom.

Standard power for the Longreef 50 SX is twin Cummins turbo diesel engines providing up to 404kW/550hp.
