2019 CITGO Etchells World Championship at Corpus Christi Yacht Club - Day 2

by Sarah Tindall 26 Jun 2019 17:47 PDT 25-29 June 2019

The results are in for the second day of the 2019 CITGO Etchells World Championships.

The Australian teams had another great showing today, coming in first, second, and third in race three. USA's Stella Blue had another strong day and is now sitting in second overall.

Also noteworthy: The Royal London Yacht Club Youths skippered by Willliam Bedford placed 10th in race 4, a point of pride for the youth sailors here.

The weather cooperated today, with winds starting at 13-18 knots out of the southeast with moderate chop and sunshine in the afternoon.
