Kiwi Yachting has announced Lewmar as major sponsor for the 2019 Triple Series run by the Shorthanded Sailing Association of New Zealand (SSANZ). The notoriously tough two-handed series is an ideal pairing with Lewmar’s design philosophy that engineers durable and innovative sailing hardware.

2019 marks the 6th year that Kiwi Yachting has been associated with the SSANZ Triple Series event, having been supported by Safety at Sea over previous events, electing to shift focus to the Lewmar brand. Lewmar is the world's premier marine equipment manufacturer of anchors, winches, windlasses, hatches, glass, hardware, steering, and thrusters. Since 1946 Lewmar has dedicated itself to making spending time on the water as easy as stress-free as possible; designing and manufacturing innovative and reliable products of the highest quality.

Lewmar’s innovative new HTX range is engineered for high loads and durability – a perfect solution for the often punishing conditions that winter yachting can bring to the Hauraki Gulf. The HTX range is the result of collaborative design from Boat Builders, Designers and Sailors, has resulted in the highest quality materials and construction providing enhanced reliability and pure performance to withstand the rigours of these conditions.

2019 also sees the launch of three new anchors from Lewmar the LFF, LFX & Epsilon. The LFX is a perfect anchor either as primary or secondary for any sailing yacht. Made from high-grade anodised aluminum, the LFX anchor demonstrates exceptional anti-corrosion performance with enhanced aesthetics. The anchor has the additional feature of being simple to disassemble and store in a locker.

The Lewmar Triple Series will be raced on the 6th July, 3rd August and 31st August, with competitors in to win thousands of dollars worth of prizes from Lewmar, courtesy of Kiwi Yachting. Head to www.ssanz.co.nz to enter now, and follow the action via #LewmarTripleSeries on Facebook and Instagram
