US Sailing Nationals Championships kick off in Spray Beach, NJ

Summer sailing is upon us, as the 2017 US Sailing National Championship season gets under way on Long Beach Island, New Jersey. The Spray Beach Yacht Club will host the 2019 U.S. Multihull Championship this Friday through Sunday, Jun 7-9.

Fourteen sailors, representing eight U.S. states and one Canadian province, will compete for the Alter Trophy in Hobie 14s.

Little Egg Harbor will be busy with a packed weekend of multihull racing. In conjunction with the U.S. Multihull Championship, the Spray Beach Yacht Club will be hosting the Hobie Points Regatta, a Hobie Class Association sanctioned event and the Division 11 Championships. Most of the fleets in competition for this regatta will be Hobie 16s and Hobie Waves. This event will take place over two days, this Saturday and Sunday, June 8-9.

Friday, June 7, 2019: First signal scheduled for 10:30 a.m. EDT
Saturday, June 8, 2019: First signal scheduled for 10:30 a.m. EDT
Sunday, June 9, 2019: First signal scheduled for 9:00 a.m. EDT
Sunday, June 9, 2019: No warning signal after 2:00 p.m. EDT
