Middle Harbour Yacht Club Women's Regatta 2019

by Catherine Rofe 9 May 2019 22:09 PDT 4 May 2019

Three races were completed for the MHYC Women's Regatta in south-west to southerly breezes mainly 10-15 knots.

Race Officer Elaine Fowler and the Middle Harbour Race Management Team had two short windward leeward races in the bag by 1pm, enabling a short rest before the passage race was under way at 2pm. With 23 boats from 8 different clubs including 4 boats in each of the One Design Classes Adams10, J24 and Melges 20 some great tussles took place out on the water, and no holding back on the start line.
