Club Marine Pittwater Sail Expo 2019 at Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club

The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club is hosting the 8th annual Club Marine Pittwater Sail Expo on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th April 2019, which sees visitors from across Sydney and regional NSW attend.

The Club Marine Pittwater Sail Expo is a free event which opens the doors of the RPAYC for the public to see and meet with marine industry professionals, featuring exhibitors both on and off water showcasing an extensive array of marine products, yachts, dinghies, Ribs and services for the experienced and the casual sailor or those that just wanted to enjoy the water with the latest marine toys.

RPAYC Commodore, Michael Lockley invites families and friends to come and visit the Club and enjoy the Sail Expo, one of a kind in NSW and the Northern Beaches, "The expo is a community event and we welcome the community to firsthand, witness our magnificent waterway and learn more about all aspects of sailing available on Pittwater, Newport”.

The family friendly event welcomed visitors to view The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club first hand, with yachts, rhibs and dinghies on display, information about learn to sail, sail training, educational courses, club racing, cruising, kid’s programs and Club membership with a Special Deal for new members joining over the week.

A fantastic weekend is planned, come and visit the Club to enjoy the day and to see how easy it is to get into sailing at the RPAYC.

During the day Halyards Bistro will be open for breakfast and lunch and the New Alfred’s Restaurant serving an al a carte menu will be open Friday – Sunday evening from 6pm as well as lunch over the weekend. Bookings are essential for Alfred’s Restaurant with Reception on 02 9998 3700 to book your table.

With seminars, live entertainment, dock walks to see the latest yacht designs available, rhib rides, great marine leisure toys, marquees and the odd wine tasting, there is something for all.

RPAYC announce a new three year Gold Club sponsorship with Club Marine

The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club are pleased to announce today a new three year partnership with Club Marine which includes the naming right sponsor for two of the Club’s major events, the Pittwater to Paradise Regatta and this weekend’s Sail Expo.

Brent McKinnon, Club Marine NSW Distribution Manager said, “Club Marine is excited to extend our partnership with The RPAYC. For us, it’s a great opportunity to be a part of the clubs fantastic events, such as Pittwater to Paradise Regatta and the clubs Sail Expo weekend, whilst most importantly furthering our relationship with the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club members’.”

Commodore of The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club Michael Lockley commented on the partnership, “We are extremely grateful to Club Marine for the continuation of Gold Sponsorship with the Club. We look forward to working closely with them over the next three years.”

The Club Marine Sail Expo will be held this weekend 27-28 April from 10 – 4pm. With 31 boats on display and numerous land base exhibitors on display for the public to view their latest products and marine services available.

Club Marine will have a team of boating insurances experts at the Sail Expo who will be happy to answer any questions and advise on suitable boat coverage for yachts, dinghies, powerboats and centreboard boats.

There will be plenty of parking at the Club, family and friends are all invited to attend.
