Free RIB rides and taster sessions for all the family

The second annual Bike4Bart Charity cycle ride takes place this Saturday 27th April 2019 at the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation's Portsmouth Watersports Centre.

Locally based Ballistic RIBS, together with sister company Boat Club Trafalgar, are lending their support for this huge charity event, being held in memory of one of Britain's America's Cup sailor and Olympian, Andrew (Bart) Simpson.

New for this year is the Bike4Bart Watersports Festival that runs alongside the cycling event, combining free watersports activities, RIB taster trips and live music. It's the perfect day out for the whole family, either on the water or on wheels.

Boat Club Trafalgar will be offering free taster sessions throughout the day on a 7.8m Ballistic RIB. Plus, there's a Ballistic 5.5m Club RIB acting as a shuttle and support boat. Sign up for a 50-minute trip, with a maximum 7 people per session when you enter the Festival. All safety and wet weather gear will be provided.

In addition to viewing and experiencing RIB rides, the Festival is offering free water-sports sessions including Sailing, Windsurfing, Stand Up Paddleboarding and Kayaking sessions for all ages 5+.

Sign up on the B4B Watersports Festival page for free entry to the Bike4Bart Watersports Festival village and secure your bookings for the water-sports sessions.

And if you feel like doing some hard core exercise it's not too late to enter the charity bike ride. Find out more about Bike4Bart here bike4bart.com.
