Staunton Harold S.C. set to launch first Asymmetric Open on 11th May 2019

Staunton Harold Sailing Club is set to hold its first Asymmetric Open event. Open to all Asymmetrics with PY of 900, or above, we're looking to welcome a host of RS Fevas, RS100s through to 500s, L2000s, 29ers and more!

Held over one day, 11 May, registration will be from 9 a.m. in the clubhouse. To enter online please go to shsc.org.uk/event/rs-200-rs-400-and-2000-open-meeting and for full details of the NOR/ SIs please go to: shsc.org.uk/open-meetings. The first race is scheduled on, or after 10:54 with five races planned, through the day (subject to conditions). The racing is format is 1 race to constitute a series but a discard after 4.

The galley will be available for lunch, snacks and hot and cold drinks. Plus camping for travelling sailors is available onsite. The club will be open on the evening of Friday 10th May to welcome those coming from afar.

The entry fee will be £15 for double handers and £12 for single handers.

After four superb open events already in 2019, we look forward to welcoming sailors to this great new event in May.

Staunton Harold Comet Open
Good to see other visitors from South Wales, Reading, Bristol and Devon The final Comet Open of the year was held on a sunny, chilly day with good westerly wind forecast.
