Bala Easter Regatta and Hornet Welsh Open - Preview

With the Bala Easter Regatta just around the corner and the weather on the up, it's looking like we will have a great Easter weekend of sailing ahead.

The ace format is three races each day, six in total with fleet starts for Mixed Handicap, Assymetric and Catamarans making it the perfect event for any type of dinghy.

There will be a number of Bala home catamarans racing and from Solos to SB20s competing in the other fleets should make it a great event on the biggest lake in Wales!

The club's new commercial 'Lakeview Cafe' makes the clubhouse the perfect place to relax for any spectators coming along. There is an evening meal and social planned for Saturday night, so stick around for some food, get yourself a drink from the bar and enjoy some beautiful views of Llyn Tegid!
