OJS Photography descended upon the Allen stand at the RYA Dinghy Show to catch up with Tristan and Tom and their International 14 'Fawkes' where they gave a great walk through of the rebuild and systems they've implemented over the last 12 months.

Their sponsor builder Phoenix Marine had a lot on their hands with new wings and removal of old features such as the moveable ballast and measurement bumps, a hangover from the old rules.

Alongside all this the systems have been overhauled with a compete Allen fit-out and ropes from Kingfisher to control the sails from Dynamic Sails. Zhik are onboard too supplying the sailing apparel and the new T3 quick release harness with optional Allen Keyball system looks fantastic. The Old Salt loft also provided some smart padded bags to protect the I14's intricate foils ensuring they stay in great condition while not in use.

Check out the full video to see all mods the guys made to get this old i14 back up and running to as new standard, and in their own words you could have a similar boat for around £6000, that's a whole lot of skiff for the money.
