20 years of Rooster Sailing celebrated at the RYA Dinghy Show

by Mark Jardine 3 Mar 2019 11:56 PST 2-3 March 2019

Steve Cockerill cuts a cake to celebrate two decades of success with the business he founded. Mark Jardine was there to catch his thoughts, on the Rooster stand at the RYA Dinghy Show.

To the right you can see one of the earliest Rooster stands, at METRATE 1999 in Amsterdam.

Steve also recalls his early days at the RYA Dinghy Show in London, where he once gave a talk, and asked the audience to pick up a Laser dinghy, so he could demonstrate roll tacks on a sea of hands. He hopes one of the 200 watches took a photo? Please send a copy to if you were there! Steve would love to see it.
