Yacht charter company, The Moorings, is turning 50 years old in 2019 and is planning to celebrate the momentous occasion by hosting two 50th anniversary rendezvous events in Croatia and the British Virgin Islands.

Five decades have now passed since the company was established by Charlie and Ginny Cary in the British Virgin Islands. Born from a passion for sailing and a slim fleet of six yachts, The Moorings wouldn't be the trusted yacht charter brand it is today if not for the legacy of its beloved founders and the continued support of its valued guests.

As they prepare to mark this major milestone, The Moorings team is inviting customers and fellow members of the yachting community to join them in celebrating a half-century of unforgettable vacations on the water.

Each of the events will feature a special itinerary designed to celebrate key partners and venues throughout both of these marquis cruising grounds, with the guidance of a lead Moorings boat. Guests will also enjoy dinners ashore, wine tastings, exclusive parties and contests, and custom patrons-only gear. The celebration events take place in Croatia from October 12th 19th 2019 and in the British Virgin Islands from November 10th 16th 2019.

Availability for both events will be limited on a first-come, first-serve basis, so those interested in attending either of The Moorings 50th anniversary celebrations should contact a Holiday Planner (033 0332 1513) to book their preferred private yacht.
