Sail GP - Sydney - Day 2 action-shots by Crosbie Lorimer

by Bow Caddy Media 17 Feb 2019 15:40 PST

Crosbie Lorimer joined the spectators on Shark Island for Day 2 of SailGP to capture the action from that scenic perspective.

Not surprisingly it was a partisan crowd on the island that seemed to be enjoying every moment of the racing, not least Team Australia's dominant performance to win the opening event.

Very few sailing events are run late afternoon in Sydney but this was an ideal opportunity to enjoy the rich colours of the fleet against a bushland backdrop and to showcase Sydney's dramatic Harbour Bridge and Opera House silhouettes as the six F50s criss-crossed the harbour, as the sun lowered in the west.
