2019 Youth Match Racing World Championship Notice of Race published

The Notice of Race for the 2019 Youth Match Racing World Championship which will be held in Ekaterinburg, Russia from 12-17 August 2019 has been published.

Gubernskiy Yacht Club Komatek will host up to 16 skippers who will be invited by World Sailing. World Sailing's Member National Authorities (MNAs) may apply for an invitation for a skipper of their nationality by sending a completed Request for Invitation Form to no later than 1 March 2019.

World Sailing will inform MNAs and skippers if they will be issued with an invitation no later than 15 March 2019. As host, the Russian Yachting Federation will be issued an invitation to a skipper of their choice.

All competitors at the 2019 Youth Match Racing Worlds will be under 23-years-old on 31 December 2019.

The championship will be sailed in Ricochet-747 type keelboats with a crew size of four or five. The maximum weight limit shall not exceed 350kg.

Skippers will be seeded into a round robin or divided into groups based on World Sailing's Match Racing Rankings and the event will consist of a round robin, Semi Finals, Petit Final and Final.
