Early-bird tickets are now on sale online for the four-day Pacific Sail & Power Boat Show taking place from Thursday, April 4 through Sunday, April 7 at the Craneway Pavilion and Marina Bay Yacht Harbor in Richmond, CA.

Boats and equipment will once again pack the 45,000 sq. ft. historic Craneway building overlooking San Francisco Bay, with an additional 21,000 sq. ft. of outdoor space surrounding the pavilion. Marina Bay Yacht Harbor, accessible via a beautiful waterside walkway or by shuttle, is set to enchant audiences with this year's in-water exhibits and additional on-land exhibitors. Thousands of boating enthusiasts are anticipating the arrival of two new boats, the J/99 and the RS21, as the show continues to attract new exhibitors and attendees from across the nation and around the world.

Sail California, a San Francisco Bay Area company, is excited to debut the new J/99 shorthanded offshore speedster on the west coast at the 2019 Pacific Sail and Power Boat Show. According to J boat designer Alan Johnstone, the J/99 packs a lot of performance and versatility into a manageable boat size and budget. "The J/99 opens up a wide range of sailing possibilities. The versatile sail plan, balanced hull form and efficient cockpit will work as well for shorthanded offshore sailing as for weekend sailing with friends." With the birth of the J Sports Series in 1975, the design evolved incorporating the best technology and developments into its latest iteration the 39th design off their drawing boards, the new J/99. "The J/99 design is sure to excite dozens in the Bay Area J/Tribe, as well as the thousands of J boat owners around the world," adds family partner Stu Johnstone.

West Coast Sailing brings the new RS21 to the Pacific Sail & Power Boat Show's in-water display at Marina Bay Yacht Harbor. The financial value and build quality were just as important as speed in the design criteria for the R21. Though the design had club-owned fleets in mind, the same attributes will appeal to individuals as well, according to Chris Brown, Vice President of Sales for West Coast Sailing. The RS21 has a large open cockpit with comfortable space for four crew, a lifting bulb keel and a carbon composite mast. The hull features eco-friendly construction thanks to bio-derived resins and recycled core materials. "We're very picky about the boats we choose to sell and I think everyone will be wowed by the RS21," says Brown. "It maximizes accessibility, value, and pure sailing enjoyment. We are offering free demo time slots at The Pacific Boat Show, our favorite show on the West Coast."

The Pacific Sail & Power Boat Show celebrates sailing, boating, and the marine sport lifestyle over four days in Richmond, CA from Thursday, April 4 through Sunday, April 7. The show is in its fourth year at Craneway Pavilion and Marina Bay Yacht Harbor in Richmond, CA and will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Details online at www.PacificBoatShow.com, on Twitter @PacificBoatShow and on Facebook @PacificSailandPowerBoatShow.
