Navico, parent company to the Lowrance®, Simrad®, B&G® and C-MAP® brands has announced Mathew Hooper will join the APAC management team as Sales Director for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region.

Mathew brings extensive knowledge and experience to the sales team, most recently as Global Training Director for Navico, and prior to that, positions in Product Management and the Service organisation.

Mathew's former roles as a NZ Airforce Avionics Tech and Service manager with a leading marine electronics company in NZ, prior to his 10 years at Navico, have given him a great understanding of not only the technology surrounding Navico's products but also the marine industry and the needs of the dealer network and customers.

"I am excited to take on a new challenge within the Navico business and look forward to working with and supporting our dealer channel and customers, whilst contributing to the future growth of the company," said Mathew.

Mathew will be based in the Auckland, New Zealand office and will travel extensively throughout Australia and the Pacific Region.
