South East Queensland National 125 Titles at Darling Point Sailing Squadron

The National 125 South East Queensland Titles were contested over the 16 and 17th of December on the waters of Waterloo Bay hosted by Darling Point Sailing Squadron. The event was held in conjunction with The Battle For Waterloo with seven boats competing for the title.

Five Races were contested over two days in moderate to fresh conditions.

The Championship was taken out by Christopher Mann and Luke Johnson sailing 'Pigs In Space Too' from Port Curtis Sailing Club, followed by Peter Mann and Alexa Mann sailing 'Pigs In Space Too Too' also from Port Curtis Sailing Club. Coming in third was Angus Sherring and Keely Strauss in 'Afterthought'. This was Keely and Angus's first time teaming up in a 125 improving every race to take out the last race of the series.

Handicap results had Natarsha Moloney and Megan Strauss in 'Nikita' taking home the trophy from Pigs In Space Too and Afterthought.

There was tight racing throughout the fleet and the last racing before the National 125 National Titles are contested at Humbybong Yacht Club commending on the 29th December.
