The Asian premiere of the MCY 96 in Thailand

by MCY Asia 13 Dec 2018 21:04 PST

To celebrate the arrival of the first MCY 96 in Asia, owners, friends, and partners were present at a Venetian themed party in Pattaya, Thailand recently. Guests were invited onboard to discover the unique allure of the glamorous MCY 96, and were full of praise for her many stunning attributes.

This highly-customized MCY 96 made waves in Pattaya – a vibrant coastal city famous for water sports and nightlife. Her Asian premiere took place at the Ocean Marina Pattaya Boat Show 2018, organized by Monte Carlo Yachts' local dealer Simpson Marine Thailand. She was the largest boat on display at the show, with her striking Mediterranean blue hull, spacious exterior and interior, grand internal details, and unlimited possibilities for customization.

Different from the yacht launched in Venice in 2017, this MCY 96 is designed to reflect her Asian owner's needs with customization highlights covering the flybridge and bow area, as well as the layout and décor of the main deck and lower deck. Richard Allen, GM of Simpson Marine remarks: "This highly-customized MCY 96 can cruise all over the waters in Asia. The owner has upgraded from a slightly smaller version to this one, planning to spend more time on it, and doing some long-distance cruising."

Asia is an important market for Monte Carlo Yachts. Blessed with impressive coastlines, it is one of the most interesting regions in the world for yacht owners and anyone wishing to charter. With more MCY models entering Asia's waterways, Monte Carlo Yachts is gaining momentum within the region's yachting community. The brand will continue to invest in the market, providing every owner with an outstanding yachting experience.
