10th anniversary Swan River Retro Yacht Series 2018-19

The last SRRYS event for 2018 started with 31 registrations and 17 dedicated starters in fresh and postcard WA conditions.

A special vote of thanks from the SRRYS team and fleet to RPYC for hosting and catering the first half of the anniversary season.

Thanks to the RPYC team with RO Pam Strickland.

RPYC rescue vessel Pelican and RFBYC's Puffin and specially RFBYC's Sharon Skinner who worked Sunday hours for the results.

Special thanks to the Handicap team which always work magically right up to Friday night!

Congratulations to the winners of the "Thera Trophy, Aries (RPYC) in Division 1, Marlene (FSC) in Division 2 and Gryphon RPYC in Division 3. The combined division was also won by Marlene (FSC). Congratulations also to Eun Na Mara (SOPYC) for double line honours in Div 1 and combined fleet.

We look forward to seeing you again on the water and welcoming you ashore at the next event on Sunday13thJanuary 2019 for the:

"Eun Na Mara" Trophy finishing at SOPYC.

This seasons event is jointly hosted by Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club and Royal Perth Yacht Club, with selected races finishing at RPYC, South of Perth YC and RFBYC.

We are enjoying a fabulous summer of classic yacht sailing and Esprit de Corps from all the yacht clubs of the Swan River and beyond.

Entry to the series and individual races, is completed online via the websites for RPYC or RFBYC. As these websites are linked to Australian Sailing, your AS numbers will be required for registration. The links are also available in the Notice of Race (NOR).
