The first ever China Sailing League event came to a successful conclusion, after four thrilling days of competition. 89 elite sailing athletes from all over the nation were the trailblazer of a new sailing world.
This intense competition brought forth Gao Mengfan and Lu Yunxiu as men's and women's RS:X class champions respectively. Xu Yani and Wei Mengxi were the winners of women's 470 class, while Zhang Dongshuang took the 1st place in women's laser.
Breaking the tradition, this event was held in the river, drawing spectators closer to the exhilarating race. With over 200 media from around the world following this historical event, Weifang competition and its athletes made their marks globally.
