Home Build International Moth Blog 8: Time & effort turns to sailing fun on Valkyrie!

by James Sainsbury 3 Dec 2018 04:36 PST 3 December 2018

It has been a while since my last update. I've just been having too much fun!

Valkyrie has been doing great, and drawing attention everywhere she goes. In the last couple of months we went on tour to the moth open at WPNSA, where she showed some great straight line speed and held together in the strong breeze.

Since then it has been time on the water tuning to get that extra performance gains around the course.

The Atomik / Luka Swift foils are fantastic and fill me with confidence while sailing throughout the wind range.

All the time and effort that went into the build of this boat has been more than paid for over the first couple of months of sailing it. Bring on next seasons events I cant wait!

As always a huge thank you to all involved!
