Exposure Lights announced during METS 2018 that Crewsaver will be distributing their range of highly powerful, LED marine search lights and safety aids in the UK and Ireland. The agreement will cover retail sales outlets in the yachting, dinghy, dive and paddle markets.

Both companies share a passion for marine safety and the new agreement has some clear synergies. Crewsaver, part of Survitec, is a world-leading designer and manufacturer of marine safety equipment. With over 60 years' experience Crewsaver's pedigree comes from working with experienced lifeboat crews and elite round-the world racers to refine every aspect of product design and construction. Exposure Lights marine division, now in its seventh year, has rapidly become the industry standard with top level Vendee, Figaro and Volvo Ocean Race teams for their highly compact, lightweight, USB rechargeable LED lights and easy to use Man Overboard (MOB) search aids.

The agreement also includes the integration of both partner's technologies, starting with the launch of Crewsaver's new ErgoFit+ lifejacket at METS. In addition to an advanced double hooped spray hood and click lock buckle, this first-of-its-kind lifejacket is fully compatible with Exposure OLAS (Overboard Location Alarm System) tag technology. In the event of a MOB emergency, Olas ensures your crew are alerted instantly and guided back to the point of the incident.

Tom Harrop, brand manager for Exposure Lights comments, "We are delighted to be teaming up with Crewsaver, with their reputation for top quality safety products. Both our companies constantly strive to improve safety and survival afloat. Working together, both in terms of servicing the retailers and product innovation, ensures this benefits the sailing and paddling consumer."

Crewsaver's commercial director, Matt Bridge adds, "Exposure Lights technologies have rapidly made significant changes in both marine safety lighting and on-water tracking. The power of their tiny, cordless, rechargeable lights, as well as the OLAS system, makes a great additional range for us to promote to retailers and integrate into our Crewsaver product lines."
