SOLARIS 80

Hall Spars are delighted to announce that we have signed the order to supply our spars to the new Solaris 80, currently in build.

The Italian yard has been building yachts for over 40 years and is famous for its unique custom yachts. The new build will be rigged with a Hall Spars mast and V-boom as well as Future Fibres ECsix side rigging, ensuring the yacht will sail with maximum comfort and style. Delivery is estimated for the end of 2019.
FLING 16'

In October the new build Botin 56, Highland Fling 16, was completed and stepped with her new Hall Spars rig in Valencia.

The yacht is owned by Lord Irvine Laidlaw, a famed competitive racer who also owns the Hall Spars rigged Highland Fling 11 which is known for its racing prowess. The Fling 16, a smaller but equally powerful yacht, looks like she could be the fastest yet in comparison with her size.

This latest stunning edition to his collection was stepped with a Hall Spars mast and boom and Future Fibres rigging for proven performance racing and maximum reliability ready for her first regatta in 2019.

ROLEX MIDDLE SEA RACE

Congratulations to the Hall Spars rigged yachts who finished atop the Rolex Middle Sea Race podium.

Tonnerre de Glen, the Ker 46, won the IRC3 Class after a brilliant display of sailing.

In IRC2 the whole podium was filled with Hall-rigs: Third place went to IRC52 Arobas2. The Cookson 50 Endless Game put in a brilliant show to take silver in her Class, missing out on gold by just under 5 minutes on corrected time. The gold went to the Optimum Yacht Racing Team, a Farr Yacht Design52. Whilst in the IRC1 Class, the Hall Spars rigged Botin Partners - Naval Architecture 65 Caro took 2nd place!

Finally, topping the ORC class 4 podium was Elusive 2. The First 45 received her new high-modulus mast, racing boom and rigging this year from Hall Spars BV, enabling her to reach even greater speeds. They also finished as the first Maltese boat in IRC & ORC.

TRULY CLASSIC 128 #3

The third build in the Truly Classic 128 range is currently at SES Yachts in Tuzla, Istanbul where she will soon be receiving her new mast.

The yacht had her aluminium hull and deck built by Bloemsma Aluminiumbouw in Makkum, Holland and Hall BV will be producing the carbon mast for the yacht. The yacht has a fractional sailplan, which should provide her with a sparkling performance in light winds, and in contrast to the Truly Classic 128 sister ships hull #3 will have a three instead of a four spreader rig.
Truly Classic 128 #3 lowered in the waters in January
