Gul National 12 Series finale and Inlands at Northampton SC this weekend

This weekend sees the final round of the Gul wetsuits National 12 series as well as the Inland Championship. The Gul Series finishes with three races on Saturday back-to-back from 12.30.

Nearly all the major prizes are under contention including the overall prize. Team Camm sit in the lead but Tom and Robert Stewart could steal the prize with a victory on Saturday. Jon Ibbotson and Rachel Smith and Ian and Alex Gore are putting on a late run for the prizes with wins at Burghfield and Ripon respectively.

Angus Beyts and his many crews might be challenged for the Admirals division but rumour has it his nearest challenger Ollie Meadowcroft who will win the junior prize has been granted use of his fathers Hijack taking him out of the Admirals division, Ollie will be hoping to make an impact on the front runners.

Once the racing is done there will be the grand Gul prize giving with the one and only Michael Brookman as compère followed by food, fireworks and a disco.

We then get to do the whole thing again on Sunday with three more races to finish off the Inland Championships.

National 12 Northern Series at Ripon
