On the third day of racing, the wind finally picked up. A good breeze from SW between 12-20 knots gave all sailors some nice plaining downwind and each fleet handled differently its boat.

The race committee announced four races for the day and it was Team Magic from South Africa that showed the best skills upwind and downwind, scoring three wins (2,1,1,1). Even if Team WilferSail won the first race, they dropped to third place overall.

Both teams from Philippines, team Standard Insurance 1 & 2 were very strong and currently stand in second and fourth position respectively. It seemed like an internal fight with only 8 points setting apart the two teams.

Another fight was also held between the two full female teams, when Team USA unfortunately ripped their kite and had to pull out from the last race. This gave the Danish, Team MMXW, the advantage to climb to seventh position overall after some really nice sailing upwind since, as they said, they were struggling downwind.

As race six was finished, the sailors discarded one race, which changed slightly the current standings of the leaderboard.

With the final race day approaching, the game is still on and the teams are getting prepared for the last two races that will take place today, Sunday 14th October.
