Marine Marketers of America to host luncheon and professional development program

Marine Marketers of America (MMA) will host its bi-annual luncheon meeting and educational seminar focused on customer experience (CX) marketing at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

The program – "Why CX Should Be Your Marketing RX" – will feature a panel of marine industry marketing experts, who will share their knowledge and experience and answer questions from the audience. Guest speakers are:

  • Matt Gruhn, president of Marine Retailers Association of the Americas
  • Margriet Mitchel, director of marketing, Jeanneau America and Prestige Yachts
  • Amanda Ward, campaign and web content manager, MarineMax
  • Lee Sanderlin, director of digital marketing and web, National Marine Manufacturers Association
"This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the single hottest trend in marketing from experts in our field," said MMA president and marketing columnist Wanda Kenton Smith of Kenton Smith Marketing, who will serve as panel moderator. "Polls of marketing professionals throughout North America reveal that CX is their top priority in 2018. You'll come away from this panel session understanding what CX is about, armed with actionable strategies and best practices for implementing CX in your marketing mix."

Sponsored by the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, MarineMax and Sea Tow, the luncheon and presentation will take place at the Bahia Mar Yacht Center in Stateroom A/B, from 12:00 to 1:30 pm, Nov. 1. Admission covers the cost of lunch; $35 for MMA members and $40 for non-members.
