Tough day of sailing on the second day of the final series, just a day before the closing of the 2018 Optimist World Championship.
With 13-16 knots of wind, the young sailors gave their best for their quest to a higher ranking on the final leaderboard.
It was a good day for the organizers that still managed to get another two races in, despite the fact that the wind once again came in late. Live streaming was launched yesterday covering the entire length of both races thank to a joint effort of ICARUS Sports and Famagusta Nautical Club.
The final and closing day will take place today at the Famagusta Nautical Club with the awards ceremony, followed by a huge beach party. Do not miss out and do not forget your bathing suits!
