The Bainbridge International Solution National Championships are almost upon us. With reigning champion Nathan Batchelor unavailable to defend his title due to work commitments, there's bound to be a different name on the trophy this year.

Will it be 2016 champion Christian Smart or will his brother Stefan use local knowledge to steal the crown from under him?

Will there be enough sea breeze for heavy wind specialist Kevin Clark to dominate the fleet or will the light forecast play into the hands of Peter Fisk?

Will it be the turn of pond-life Jack Turnbull or perennial bridesmaid Sam Davy to finally show their sea legs?

Will mid-fleet masters Martin Tubb or Kathryn Clark finally swap the Ted Funnell Memorial trophy for the Champions cup?

Is Basher Nix going to beat his way to the front or will there be a new face coming along to clean up?

So many questions, so many potential winners... watch this space to find out what happens.

It all kicks off at Pembrokeshire Yacht Club at midday on Saturday 1 September.
