Registration opens for North American/Caribbean and the South/Central American Championships

The Notice of Race for both the North American/Caribbean and the South/Central American Championships have been published today by the Formula Kite Class Association.

Both events are qualification events for the PanAmerican Games and the World Beach Games.

For the World Beach Games, qualification is by name (competitors qualify themselves, not only their country) based on the World Rankings as of 1st June 2019. If placed in the World's top 10, more than one athlete per country can participate in the World Beach Games.

For the PanAmerican Games, a country may qualify at either the North American Championship or the South American Championship. Competitors from countries eligible to compete at the Pan American Games may therefore compete in both events and qualify their country at either of them.

Equipment for all qualification events and the Games themselves is Formula Kite equipment as currently on the registered series production equipment list.
