Today's program consisted of finishing the Round Robins with 11 matches per competitor. The objective is to establish a ranking of all competitors (from one to 12) before the elimination phases.
At the end of this Round Robin, three Caledonian crews are in the lead: Tom Picot, Yann Rigal and Cyril Fortin.
Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, we will move on to the qualifying rounds: quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.
Hot matches on the water!
There were fantastic duel on the lemon Bay, the finish between boats were very close, and many penalties have been made all around the 66 matches of Round Robin....
The boats were close to each other and each crew gave the best of themselves to try to win.
Finally it is Tom Picot who wins the most matches finished in the lead. He will face the team that finished 8th Celia Willison in the quarterfinals.
Yann Rigal finishes second will sail against Juliette Costanzo (seventh). Cyril Fortin finished third will sail against Emilie Bouchet (sixth) and Tugdual Piriou (fourth) will sail against New Zealander Jordan Stevenson (fifth)
