The Royal Varuna Yacht Club, Pattaya, Thailand, the Siam Dart 18 Class Association and the International Dart Association are delighted to announce that Royal Varuna Yacht Club will be hosting this prestigious event in early 2019.

Situated one and a half hours south of Bangkok International airport the club is experienced in the recent organisation of major World championships, including events for the OK Dinghy, Fireball and Optimist classes.

The weather at this time of year is guaranteed to provide glorious tropical sailing conditions, with winds from 10 to 25 knots from the south west, air temperature between 26c and 32c and water temperature around 26c - just what we need to recover from the cold northern hemisphere winter.

Already five previous World Champions have booked their container space and entries are expected from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey and USA.

We therefore extend a warm invitation to all past, present Dart, Catamaran, dinghy sailors, and supporters to join us next February in the Kingdom of Thailand for what will be a memorable championship.

For full details regarding entry, please refer to the NOR and event Website www.dartworlds2019.com or via email to .
