The 23rd edition of the Ora Cup Ora, an event organized by the Circolo Vela Arco, has recently become a classic of the summer on Garda Trentino: dedicated to the youngsters of the Optimist and with more and more important and demanding numbers this year reached the record number of almost 550 sailors.

It seems almost a summery version of the Garda Optimist Meeting (the Guinness World Records regatta) organized by the nearby Fraglia Vela Riva at Easter every year and it's nice to see a class frequented exclusively by children and kids with their families, come back with always more enthusiasm on Garda Trentino not to miss the Ora Cup Ora.

A perfect match between tourism and youth agonism in key not too fierce, which is giving great satisfaction to all members and volunteers of the Circolo Vela Arco, who are managing so many participants in the middle of August. The somewhat bizarre time brought a forced stop on the second day, but on the opening day of Saturday and in the final day we managed to finish four tests for the juniors and five for the cadets.

On Monday, all the fleets went down in the water early in the morning to try to take advantage of the wind from the north of the eight and something has managed to do even if it was light enough wind, which gradually dropped to give space to the wind from South arrived just to continue and close the event with all the fleets in par, with a great work of the Committee of regatta and jury, as well as all the posaboe and receptionists on the ground.

In the last juniors / regattas for the current World Champion Marco Gradoni, who at the end of the month will go to defend the title in Cyprus: the Roman bearer of Sailing Club Tognazzi Village won two points ahead of the Austrian Messeritsch. Third European Champion 2018 Alex Demurtas (Fraglia Vela Riva) in parity with the second, fourth Giacomo Guardigli (CN Cesenatico) and fifth Alessio Castelli (CDV Muggia).

First two female positions with German pretext with Louisa Müller and Jule Ernst; third Nayeli Ceccano (CDV Roma). Foreign victory in the cadets with the Croatian Tafra, who by a whisker beat Mosè Bellomi (Fraglia Vela Riva), third the Roman Niccolò Pulito of Tognazzi Village. It is confirmed first female and seventh absolute Clara Lorenzi (CN Bardolino), followed by Pallua Chiara (FVMalcesine), third Swiss Shari.

Winning the formula that wants to propose the event as a party, even if many participants are maintained at the highest level and among the best in the world. Certainly the nursery of international sailing has no setbacks and indeed, continues to grow both in number and level.
