International Contender European Championship at Circolo Vela Arco - Day 4

by Elena Giolai 3 Aug 2018 16:50 AEST 28 July - 3 August 2018

Despite the day a little cloudy in the morning on Garda Trentino, the sky opened up, bringing sun and wind from the south in the early afternoon, then returning to the joy of the 130 competitors competing in the European Championship Contender, organized by the Circolo Vela Arco and scheduled until Friday 3 August.

The first day of the final, which saw the best of the general classification compared, did not bring big jolts in the podium positions, except the rise of the Danish Andreasen, who with a second and a first took second place overall. The Italian Marco Ferrari, strong of the exceptional partial of the last days (all first and second), despite the day not brilliant with a 9-11 of the day is kept in the head and has recovered a further two points on the second classified, become the Danish already world champion Soren Dulong Andreasen.

The Dane was the protagonist in the last test of the day of a good fight to the last meter against the German Dirk Muller, who managed to overtake him in the last bow, winning. British Mussell slips to third place.

With three points from the podium Antonio Lambertini, currently fourth with three points ahead of Brit Scott. The Italian Davide Fontana is sixth tailed by the German Muller, today aggressive with a 2-1. Friday conclusion of the event and with the ninth test there will be the inclusion of the second gap, which will certainly change many positions in the top ten.
