World Sailing announces shortlist for Olympic Singlehander

World Sailing has announced that it received eight bids for the selection of equipment for the Mens and Womens One Person Dinghy.

This is part of the Anti-Trust Review in which the Laser and Laser Radial were tagged, along with the RS-X Windsurfer (Mens and Womens) and is not the Olympic Equipment Evaluation.

From the eight bids received the Re-Evaluation Working Party has short-listed four for further evaluation.

- Laser Standard and Laser Radial - presented by the International Laser Class Association

- D-Zero presented by Devoti Sailing

- Melges 14, presented by Melges Boat Works, Mackay Boats Ltd

- RS Aero presented by RS Sailing

The second phase of the Evaluation is a paper based exercise as described in this document published by World Sailing
