2018 Women's Keelboat Championships at Mimico Cruising Club - The countdown is on!

Mimico Cruising Club (MCC) will be hosting the 2018 Women's Keelboat Championships from September 13th - 16th. Located in beautiful Humber Bay Park West in Toronto, MCC offers sailing right on Lake Ontario and has a strong reputation in the sailing community as a welcoming club that strives for excellence.

MCC is excited to deliver an event that will provide great pre-race training, challenging racing, and engaging social activities, while working to raise the bar for competitive women's sailing.

Deadlines are quickly approaching:

  • July 15, 2018 - Need a Loaner Boat, request one when registering. Loaner Boats will be allocated based to the first registered team from each province in the order of paid date of entry on July 15, 2018. Any required allocation of loaner boats after July 15th will be based on availability and paid date of entry.
  • August 15, 2018 - Discounted registration fees available until August 15th.

Clara Gravely comes up with a personal best at the Women's ILCA 6 World Championship. James Juhasz from Oakville, ON, was the top Canadian at the 2025 Men's ILCA 7 & Women's ILCA 6 World Championships held May 12-17 in Qingdao, China, as he came in 37th in ILCA 7 and therefore earned the best Canadian result at the event since 2016.
