Thinking of sailing south this autumn? Come and join the fleet as we head off towards the warmer climates of the Caribbean and South Atlantic Seas!

We are delighted to announce that the Caribbean 1500 will once again be hosted by Nanny Cay Marina in Tortola. After the extensive storm damage last year, staff and salvage teams worked extremely hard to restore facilities in time for the arrival of the 2017 Carib 1500 fleet. Berths with electricity and water, hot showers, and Wi-Fi were all restored, and happy hours were once again, happy.

This year, Nanny Cay Marina has made even further improvements to the docks and facilities, and has recently hosted the ARC Europe fleet, as well as the BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival. World Cruising Club are proud to support Nanny Cay, and are looking forward to a warm Caribbean welcome as the Caribbean 1500 fleet once again calls Nanny Cay its home.

ARC Bahamas will also be heading south for the winter, and will once again be hosted by Marsh Harbour in the Abacos.

Together, the ARC Bahamas and Caribbean 1500 fleets will enjoy a week long social program in Portsmouth, VA before departure. The Bahamas fleet will make a combined start with the Caribbean 1500 boats, before heading west towards the Bahamas, with their beautiful sandy beaches and stunning, shallow water reefs.
