The seven competing teams in the Volvo Ocean Race are on a fast track towards the finish in The Hague. In less than four weeks' time this legendary race will finish in The Netherlands for the very first time in history.

With this finish the city will host its biggest event ever. For that reason The Hague hoists all sails to celebrate. All through the international city by the sea, one can enjoy almost 500 flags in the shape and design of the sails of all seven competing teams. The master piece is the collection of the seven XL -flags situated at the Central Station.

Sail along and create your #zeilfie

To raise awareness for the race and the festivities The Hague created 'your own #zeilfie (Sailfie)'. This will win an all-star treatment onboard one of the Legends (ex-Volvo Ocean Race boats) on Thursday 28 June for two people.

What does one have to do? Take a #zeilfie with one of the almost 500 flags in town. Share this creation through the event's social media with hashtag #zeilfie. On Friday 8 June the organisers will announce the winner. More information here
