Get out and sail: Your weekly crewing update from MySail

by Deborah Dalziel, MySail Team 29 May 2018 15:45 PDT

A much-anticipated event is happening this June long weekend. Over 160 sailors and their supporters from across Australia and New Zealand will join in the fun yet competitive racing at the 28th Australian Women's Keelboat Regatta (AWKR).

Held annually at the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron in St Kilda, the well-attended AWKR provides an excellent learning and networking opportunities, as well as sailing, for female sailors, coaches and fans. MySail is proud to be a sponsor of this event, and I look forward to meeting other sailors from across the country, as I’m also heading down with a team from NSW to compete.

This week our crewing opportunities are a little more laid back, with options to join cruising vessels on Australia’s east coast.

Available Crewing Positions:

Athena of Adelaide, Sydney, NSW
Duncanson Pilothouse sloop, 40foot

Athena of Adelaide boasts of exceptional fully equipped, one-owner pilothouse yacht. She has just travelled from Sydney to Batemans Bay, and looking to connect with crew interested in cruising.

Enterprise – Cammeray, NSW
Lexen, 39foot

Enterprise is ideal for cruising and casual racing. They will be participating in some short to medium coastal events - if you are looking for some short offshore sailing then talk to the skipper about joining Enterprise.
