The Glide 2990 in production, after one year of design and testing at the request of Peina Chen from China, the 2016 Olympic Women’s Windsurfing Silver Medalist.

Designed by Bruce Kendall, the Glide 2990 is the double Olympic board sailing medalist's first ever design in high quality construction with top of the line components.

Kendall says: "it's a potential alternative to the RS:X Olympic board and is less expensive. It's also designed to be suitable for charter equipment events," he adds.

"After 40 years of looking at various windsurfing design flaws, I have been able to work with a great team to solve them. So the board has some pretty innovative components."

Kendall says he designed his first board at when he was 16 years old.

"Finally at 53 years old, I have one in production!"
