Middle Harbour Yacht Club invites competitors to participate in their inaugural Women's Regatta on Sunday 6th May 2018.

After a successful initiative introducing a Women's Twilight Series this year, MHYC continues their commitment to encourage and support women in sailing with the introduction of the one day regatta next month.

The Open Keelboat divisions will be contested by yachts with all female crews and mixed crews with a female helm. One Design divisions for mixed crews with a female helm are available for Adams 10, Melges 20, Yngling and Elliott 7 classes with a minimum of 3 entries. With a choice of spinnaker and non-spinnaker there is an option for everyone.

Commencing at 11am, two short windward-leeward races will be followed by a passage race starting at 2pm, with the choice of just competing the passage race. Sailing will be conducted on the beautiful waters of Sydney Harbour and The Sound with Elaine Fowler as Race Officer calling the shots for the day.

Back at MHYC after racing, there will be music, nibbles and the presentation of prizes.
